**Our first stay in 2019 was in the Garden suite, such a cute room. It is smaller than the Key West but just as lovely and comfortable and the private porch on the Garden suite is perfect, I was torn when I booked my stay because we loved the Garden suite but wanted to try a new room and the Key West was fabulous.

We take all Covid protection steps very seriously and so does Meranova. They do a fantastic job by providing contactless check-in, providing fresh linens at your door step along with any other supplies you might request and contactless check-out. Employees serving rooms between guests always had a mask on. The only disappointing thing, which we were made aware of at time of booking, was not being able to partake in the wonderful breakfasts we read about in prior reviews. Due to Covid, that's been suspended and understandably so.
My only suggestion to the owners is......get some comfortable chairs for the kitchen table. The narrow and hard metal backs and seats are most uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. Do that and we will change our 5 star rating to 10 star! More

May 18, 2021The Key West room was very nice. However, this is not a Bed and Breakfast as indicated on the website. There is no breakfast. Their idea of... read more breakfast is to offer "discount" tickets to the restaurant next door for $30 for two. My wife and I had breakfast next door without their tickets and paid about $30 so their discount is no discount. The owners boast of contactless check-in and check-out. My wife and I stayed at the Meranova about 5 years ago under the previous owners. The breakfasts were fabulous, served privately to us on the porch or gazebo. The owners were incredibly gracious and could not have been nicer. We don't buy the COVID excuse for lack of breakfast. Since it can be served privately it would be quite safe. Same applies to the contactless bit. One can wear a mask and stay 6 feet away and still show some hospitality.
I gave it 4 stars because the rooms are so nice, but the charm is gone. That's unfortunate. Again, it's not a B&B, only a Bed. More
