What if Need to Cancel or Change My Reservation?

We require 14 days notice for all cancellations and changes. Please refer to our Rental Terms and Conditions here for more information.

Are There Resort Fees?

Each unit is subject to a one-time $15 resort fee

How Much Privacy Will I Have

All of our apartments and suites feature private entrances, private bathrooms, efficiency to full-sized kitchens and most units have either a porch or balcony. You will have as much privacy as you desire.

Do You Have Wheelchair Accessible Accommodations?

Our Cottage Apartment is handicapped-accessible from its parking space to the barrier-free roll-in shower.

What are the Occupancy Limits?

The Meranova has three units that can accommodate up to 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. We generally find that children under 16 years are happier elsewhere as our amenities are geared towards adults.

Do the Apartments & Suites Have Kitchens?

All of our apartments and suites have fully equipped kitchens ranging from efficiency kitchenettes to full-sized kitchens that are perfect for longer stays.

Do the Units Have Private Bathrooms?

All of our apartments and suites have private bathrooms that feature showers, tubs or combinations of both.

Is Your Swimming Pool Heated?

Yes, our swimming pool is heated. We try to maintain a temperature in the swimming pool of about 80 degrees in the winter.

Do we Need to Bring Towels for the Swimming Pool?

No need to pack towels! The Meranova Guest Innt supplies for our guests to use while enjoying our swimming pool. We also have “Fun in the Sun Kits” available for our guests who want to plan a trip to the beach. These kits include beach towels, coolers, umbrellas, and more.

How Far Away is the Beach?

The Dunedin Marina is located minutes from our front gate, and Pinellas County is home to many award-winning beaches including Caladesi Island and Honeymoon Island State Park which are located 5.5 mi. north or Clearwater Beach located 6.1 mi. south.

For our guests who want to enjoy a day at the beach, we provide “Fun in the Sun Kits” that include beach towels, chairs. umbrellas, and coolers to use while staying here.

Are There Bike Rentals Close By?

Yes, bike rentals are located just 2 blocks away on the Pinellas Trail. we recommend Kafe Racer or Pedego.

Are there Socially Distant Fun Things to Do?

You can enjoy breathtaking and colorful sunsets at the marina falling behind the barrier islands. Kayaks, paddleboads and sailboats can be rented at the Dunedin Causeway. The Pinellas Trail offers biking, hiking and jogging with bike rentals available within a few blocks.

Is There Free Parking?

The Meranova offers free off-street parking for 1 car per guest, with one handicapped accessible space.

Is Smoking Allowed?

Smoking is prohibited on our property.

What is the Meranova’s Pet Policy?

Sorry, the Meranova Guest Inn cannot accommodate pets.

Can I Host an Event at the Meranova?

I don't usually write reviews unless there's an exception to the norm. Meranova is that exception. My wife and I spotted this place years ago while walking around Dunedin on vacation. It looked the type of place we love to stay: small, centrally located, well cared for. I then delved further by checking out their website and of course reviews. We then tried to book during high times and couldn't seem to get in. Luckily last year we did and then we returned again this year. J.J. and his team do an outstanding job of managing this stellar guest inn. Every room - and there are only 9 - has its own character with thoughtful amenities for either long or short stays. The housekeeping staff keeps them up impeccably. The same can be said for the surrounding grounds, beautiful gardens, and a small pool tucked away in the interior. It feels like an oasis smack dab in the middle of town. While we rented a car we hardly needed it as everything is walkable with outstanding eateries, craft breweries, and cafes within easy reach. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Large room with kitchen area, sitting area and king comfy bed. Great private porch too. Grounds are lovely. Right in down town, near shops, dining & waterfront. A great place to stay. Enjoy the sunset from the pier. Dinner at Bon Appetite with great views.

Wedding anniversary trip Meranova Guest Inn is a MUST stay if you are visiting the Dunedin/Clearwater area! My husband and I stayed here in August 2023 in the Key West room for our first wedding anniversary. I found Meranova on a tourism site that recommended this place for a BnB stay.

The location is perfect - walking distance to shops and restaurants. We fell in love with the charm of the downtown and how friendly everyone was.

The Key West room was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. We stayed during the low season so it felt like at times we were the only guests on property. We had a pool view (loved the pool) and a private patio. The large kitchen was a plus as we had some meals there.

We did lose power in the middle of one of the nights for a couple hours so it was a little toasty but just a tiny speed bump on a overall good trip.

We will 100% stay here again when considering another trip to Dunedin! More

Head to Dunedin! Excellent bedding. Excellent location. Quiet premises. Well stocked kitchen with the exception of regular coffee maker. Definitely would stay there again.
Rent bikes on day 1 and head to Publix for groceries. Make plans to dine at Cafe El Fresco (get the gumbo) and Stirling. Best choices by far. There are two breakfast cafes less than a minute away.
Enjoy the market on Friday and Saturday mornings.
The Pinellas Trail is perfect for riding to Honeymoon and Clearwater beaches.
You won’t need a car at all.
